2 almost identical postcards and a third one of the Patterson General Store in Pattersonville. 2022.FIC.101a - 2 almost identical cards. One back of one: "upstairs used as varnish room, chairs were dipped, dried, and packed for shipping...Year 1905, Burned late 1930s." Second card dated 3/12/08 - never mailed but written from "Bill" "Received your post card, and everything is just the same here. Harold is a big boy now, and a chip off the old block. They have been trying to blow up the covered bridge here with Dynamite today but haven't succeeded yet..." 2022.FIC.101b - perhaps a somewhat later view of the store |
