According to a note tucked into Knights' photos: "Florrie FitzHugh coordinated our celebrations that year with her committee planning 18 events, including a July 4th Olde Home Day on the Green. Governor and Mrs. Snelling were in the parade and appeared on the bandstand - one of his last public appearances. The popular Bus Tours of Historic Norwich were held in September 1990 and 1991, with long-time Norwich residents as guides."
