Colburn's Cornet Band posing outside a building at Dartmouth. Band was organized in Union Village on Aug. 24, 1872, uniformed in 1877, and disbanded in 1884 according to the note on the back of the photo. Band leader and blacksmith, Myron S. Colburn is in the back row, second from left with his E-flat cornet. Paper accompanying it is scanned - 2015.FIC.205b. |
