Description |
Island at the mouth of Girl Brook near the Hutchinson/Ladd farm. This island was covered when the dam was built in Wilder. "N. Olds" is written in ink in the lower lefthand corner. Note: A smaller copy was made. It and four very similar views of the river and the island have been lumped with this accession. Two appear to be old photocopies of a postcard published by Allen Drug. Co. in Hanover. The island in these black & white photos is called First Island. 2011.13.25a - a FIC postcard with oval view of "The first island...opposite 'Loveland Road'" |
