Hazel Marshall Fitzgerald learned sewing skills when she was in a convent in the Hookset area. She and Ernest designed and hooked a stair runner - a special image for each of their 8 children: Marion - painter; Bill - farmer; Bob - roller skates; Janet - flowers; Marshall - ski jumper; Ann - swimming; Hazel - children; June - music. |
