by agreement when they purchased the house at 316 Main Street that they would care for Mrs. Baxter Newton until her death Annie Brigham Douglass was born in Norwich on 3/3/1869; died 10/13/1953. She was Arthur's second wife. Came to Norwich in 1886. Worked at the Olds Store until it was destroyed by fire, then according to a newspaper clipping operated his own stoe on the same site. Got into the dairy business when he married Annie. |
